This fun itinerary mirrors the "Places to Love" episode which features hidden gems, lesser-known spots and a deeper-dive into food and beverage, art and design, culture and adventure.

DAY 1:

Anaheim
After Disneyland, Anaheim Packing District is a must-visit. Filled with multiple floors of culinary delights, visitors of all ages can shop, taste and photograph 7 days a week. An international culinary destination housed within a historic citrus-packing warehouse, Anaheim Packing House is the star of the "new Anaheim."

Costa Mesa
Visit The Lab "Anti-Mall" for some hip shopping and people-watching, just a block from the legendary designer shopping destination called South Coast Plaza and across from the City of the Arts hub which features the professional performances at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Concert Hall and South Coast Repertory Theater year-round.

DAY 2:

Huntington Beach
Surf City USA offers the coolest Main Street surf & street-wear browsing, just across from the Pacific Ocean and the world-famous Huntington Beach pier where tourists love to watch local surfers ride the waves. Looking for the delicious coffee, donuts and other tasty treats with a view? Take a walk through the new Pacific City.

Newport Beach
The famous beachfront enclave boasts million-dollar mansions plus the new Lido Marina district and the classic Balboa Island. Families love to rent a Duffy boat and tool around the harbor, which is open 365 days a year.

Laguna Beach
There much to see in Laguna Beach - start with Main Beach and then visit the Marine Mammal Center for some ocean education. Crystal Cove in Laguna Beach is a hidden gem and beloved by locals - treat yourself to a walk on the sand in sunny SoCal. Drive back up the coast on Pacific Coast Highway to fly back home via John Wayne Airport.
