Located in San Juan Capistrano’s Historic Downtown just four miles from the stunning coastal cliffs of Dana Point, Mission San Juan Capistrano is a remarkable historic landmark. Visitors can learn about the region’s cultural roots, take inspiration from its spiritual significance, engage with local traditions, or explore both permanent and traveling exhibits of original artifacts that bring its history into the present. From diverse exhibits to interactive activities, both children and adults are introduced to educational and cultural experiences inspired by history and tradition at the Mission.visit www.missionsjc.com.

  • Days/Hours: Open Daily 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day Closed at noon on Good Friday and Christmas Eve
  • Admission: Adults $9 Seniors 60+ $8 Children 4-11 $5 Children under 3 are free Tours Guided tours: Mon – Fri 1:00 p.m.; Sat & Sun 11:15 a.m., 1:00, 2:15 & 3:45 p.m. Reservations are required for guided tours for groups of 15 or more. Garden Tours are offered on Wednesdays at 10:15 and 10:45 a.m. An additional audio tour, designed specifically for children, is available in both English and Spanish at $2 per child.
